Bell, one of Canada's largest telecommunications providers, serves more than 22 million customers across the country, offering telephone, internet, and television solutions.
Bell, one of Canada's largest telecommunications providers, serves more than 22 million customers across the country, offering telephone, internet, and television solutions.
As part of this project, we collaborated with the team to design the 2025 modem, a connected object essential for integrating simple and intuitive technology into users' daily lives. The objective was to create a product that is both functional and discreet, easy to use while integrating harmoniously into homes.
As part of this project, we collaborated with the team to design the 2025 modem, a connected object essential for integrating simple and intuitive technology into users' daily lives. The objective was to create a product that is both functional and discreet, easy to use while integrating harmoniously into homes.
Thanks to my industrial design expertise, I had the opportunity to work in tandem on the entire project, combining both hardware and software design. I participated in developing various concepts, creating inspiration boards, as well as 3D modeling with renderings. In parallel, I contributed to designing the modem screens and participated in follow-up with engineers to ensure product consistency.

We started by exploring the hardware aspect by creating a moodboard and proposing different concepts. After validation of the chosen concept, I created a more industrial 3D model to validate technical aspects in collaboration with engineers and designers at Sagem.

Once the hardware part was validated and transmitted to the design office, I was able to focus on designing the modem screens. Thanks to a clear and precise request for functionalities, I was able to develop the entire user flow for the modem.

I also prototyped the user flow realistically, integrating interactions and animations between screens. This approach facilitated presentation to developers for future implementation.

Conceptualization and ideation through the creation of moodboards, allowing exploration of various creative directions during collaborative work sessions, centered on defined themes such as form, spacing, etc.
Project follow-up and internal team management to ensure progress and alignment of needs, particularly on deliverables and animations, while respecting time constraints and defined objectives.
Integration of technical specifications for optimized 3D design, promoting efficient collaboration with the design office for industrialization purposes.
Creation of mockups in specific format for the modem, accompanied by advanced prototyping to illustrate the interactions and animations necessary for development.
